What does it mean to enroll a candidate?
When you enroll a candidate, that means that you have accepted them into your program. You can message and log actions on applicants you are still processing, and decline any candidates that you do not accept.
What is the benefit of enrolling candidates?
Once you enroll your candidates, Service Year Alliance will be able to start connecting them to resources, such as:
Periodic news, updates, and opportunities sent to service year corps members and alums
Enrolled service year corps members will also be highlighted as serving with your program on their profile, and will have the opportunity to post about their experiences using the "Journey" feature on ServiceYear.org. Content posted through the Journey feature can be shared on social media and directly with your organization.
How to enroll candidates:
In the “Corps Members” section of your organization dashboard, click the “Enroll” button on your service year corps member's card.
You'll be asked to complete a brief form adding start/end date, supervisor, and location. This information will be pre-populated based on your listing, but you'll have the opportunity to edit if needed.
If you are enrolling multiple members at the same time, you can do so via the Listing Summary page. You can navigate there by going to your “Listings” tab, and clicking directly on the listing name. This will take you to the Listing Summary page. In the candidates table on this page, select the checkbox next to any candidates you are enrolling (or select the checkbox at the very top to select all), then select “Enroll" at the top of the table to complete the enrollment form for multiple members.
Invite your service year corps members you did not recruit through ServiceYear.org:
