Corps members enrolled on ServiceYear.org are eligible to apply for benefits through Service Year Alliance’s partnerships and become part of a broader service year community. In 2017, benefits includes the third year of our partnership with Airbnb, as well as a new program, Service Year 100.

To enroll your corps members that you did not recruit through ServiceYear.org, you can create a pre-enrollment link from your recruitment listing. Once your corps members sign up via this link, you’ll be able to quickly complete their enrollment.

How it Works:

1. Complete a Listing: Make sure that you have a completed listing for the appropriate service cycle in the “Listings” tab in your organization dashboard. This listing can be public or private and does not need to be actively recruiting, but all required fields will need to be completed to access the link. Please Note: If you have not separately completed becoming certified, you'll need to first complete this step. Here is more info on becoming certified.

2. Create a Link: Create a pre-enrollment link by clicking directly on the name of the appropriate listing in your Listings tab.

This will take you to the Listing Summary page, where you can select the button for “Pre-Enrollment Link.” This provides you with a unique link that you can copy and email to your corps members.

3. Email the link to your Corps Members:  See below for a sample template that you can use when emailing your corps members to sign up and become enrolled.

4. Enroll your Corps Members: When a corps member completes their pre-enrollment, a notification will be sent to the listing point of contact. At this point, you can return to your Listing Summary page to complete the enrollment. You can filter the view of "Candidates" on this page to show only individuals who have entered via your enrollment link. Simply click "Filter" and select the option for "Pre-enrollment link."

To enroll all corps members who have signed up via the pre-enrollment link at once, select the the checkbox at the top of the candidates section, click the "Enroll" button at the top of this table, and complete the brief enrollment form to finish the enrollment. Please note that if you are enrolling multiple members at once, you will need to select the same location, supervisor, and start/end dates for each individual. If you would like to differentiate this information for specific corps members, you can choose to enroll subsets of your corps members at the same time, or complete enrollments individually.

Emailing your corps members:

Once you've created a pre-enrollment link, you'll want to send it out to all of your accepted corps members so that they can sign up and become enrolled on ServiceYear.org. Below is a template you can use when communicating this opportunity with your corps members. Please feel free to modify or use your own language as most appropriate for your program when sending this out.
